About the author

Nina Wähä is a lifelong Stockholmer. She made her debut in 2007 with the novel S For Sister. She played one of the leads in the 2004 film Babylonsjukan and was lead singer in the indie pop band Lacrosse. Her latest novel Testament (2019), met with critical acclaim, was shortlisted for the August Prize and won the Swedish Radio Novel Prize.

Literature can be a powerful force for good. As a response to the climate crisis, the Gothenburg Book Fair has asked renowned authors from around the world to write protest signs that are available for anyone to use. So that you can tackle the greatest challenge of our time, with words from the greatest writers of our time.

All signs are free to download and use in protests. But please consider donating to our partner the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. To learn more about the Gothenburg Book Fair and this year’s theme – the climate crisis – please visit our website bokmassan.se.
